ص ض ط ظ are called the emphatic (or pharyngealised) letters. They come in two pairs by shape:
Pair 1: ص (no dot) and ض (one dot above) — oval/loop shape.
Pair 2: ط (no dot) and ظ (one dot above) — tall upright shape.
